Management says “Go East Young Man”

Posted by Matt On April - 13 - 2008

At the end of the month I will be leaving Los Angeles to pursue new opportunities in New York City. As I’ve always loved musical theatre, and as I’m constantly being told by casting directors that they think I’d be wonderful in this play or that one — my manager and I have decided that I belong in The Big Apple. Los Angeles has afforded me so many fantastic opportunities – television pilots, short films, feature films, and stage shows — I will certainly miss all of the people who helped me get to where I am in this city in particular, my friends and co-founders in Laughs on Demand, Richie Ring — who’s going to be a huge comedian some day, Coby Byerly — a fantastic manager with Impact Artists Group who’s given me excellent advise and support, Danny Sussman of Brillstein-Grey, Seth Colton — a fantastic actor who gives to the acting community in so many ways, Lesly Kahn and her entire staff and studio for challenging me and treating me so kindly, Ken Werther for his amazing publicity that landed me on the cover of Variety, Ben Giroux and Gabe Oliverez for producing the hell out one of the hottest musicals L.A.’s seen in years, and my close friends Kyle Ferris, Darion Lowenstein, Joey Shwall, Kristen Nielsen, Wally Schrass, and Hannah Johnson. I’ll see you all on Broadway.
